This is one of the hot new Paso Robles brands to watch, and the wines really start to soar in 2020 vintage. This blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 10% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Franc starts with intense yet fresh blueberry and violet aromas. Firm tannins frame the sip, where the blue fruit-purple flower combo is enhanced by white pepper spice that extends across the entire palate. — Matt Kettmann

Fermentation

Aged for 22 months in 225L barriques: 63% new French oak, and 37% used French oak barrels.
